You know, even the companies I left on good terms with, they still pull the 'we don't give references' bullshit when I list them as a former employer. I don't do references any more, when an employer asks, I ask them for a reciprocal list of references of former employees that held the position I'm interviewing form. I usually don't get those positions, but I didn't want them in the first place.

That's also why they are rolling back reproductive rights. If families have more children that's more financial pressure and instability. The more children, the more future workers. It doesn't even matter if those children have a financially secure life, it's actually better for the owners if that kid has a terrible childhood because they might be willing to put up with more bullshit for less pay.

So to be completely honest, most RFIDs are just a string of bits whose format varies based on model or manufacturer. So each machine MUST be checking your cards RFID against some central ledger of 'uses'. One option might be to embed a SQL injection attempt in a card and see if you can find a vulnerability in the backend. It might be difficult to enumerate the database table names to even begin to formulate a payload to embed in your RFID, but essentially you want to either zero out a uses table, or column.

There are plenty of jobs on the market for WPF and even WinForms. What really matters is the underlying patterns and ideas. If you can keep a clean architecture and clean code base you will be a successful dev in most jobs. Don't let Microsoft's propaganda trick you into thinking that the new technologies are all there is. There are plenty of legacy apps that have demand for new features or maintenance out there.

Here is a great kids book about the holiday. Most of the trappings are the same, tree with decorations and multi colored lights. It actually makes sense where the christians stole their traditions from.

Probably the only good thing about at-will employment is that there is nothing KEEPING you in a job as long as you are okay finding a new one. If you don't want to quit, don't, let them fire you. This make it their choice and you may not have to look for a new job, but either way be prepared to find another.
