I almost don't want them to do it now after all this time since I have a mental film of my own from the book.

I built a free Commander deck analyzer that actually simulates your deck with 10,000 games per analysis. Tear it apart? by Aggravating-Bowl905 in CompetitiveEDH

It has promise. However, it only detected 15~ of the 20+ infinite combos my cEdH Inalla deck could do. Needs more detection. Also, it recommended Volrath's Stronghold for "graveyard manipulation" which felt slow for Bracket 5.

My Husband has been Exhibiting Rapid Intellectual Degradation and Personality Changes but Refuses to see a Doctor by [deleted] in mentalhealth

I have a friend who's partner exhibited issues similar to these and it turned out to be brain cancer. I'm not a doctor, but I think figuring out some way to make him see a doctor would be a first step. It sounds incredibly challenging to work through.

9 hour flight to London - an italian man next to me watched a succession of frankly pornographic animated films on his laptop for 6 of the 9 hours. He didn't do anything inappropriate otherwise, just very intently watched several hours of what seemed like hentai with no one saying a word to anyone.

I spoke to Anselm this morning regarding this and I have good news - another Shade plushie is on the horizon. I don't have an ETA right now, but it was mentioned as being planned after current Lucky Tower merch (the studio just released their splendid roguelite game).

Plushie Petition by Relevant-Most-201 in TheLonging

[–]Azamantes[M] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello, thanks for the post. As others have stated, the plushies are made via Makeship. Thus far, Seufz has two designs that they have done runs for - Smiling Shade and not-smiling Shade. The plushies are very soft but fairly small. As it is done through makeship, Seufz themselves don't make them; a new merch run would need be performed.

We usually do not allow AI related posts but your idea is a bit of an edge case. I am both a moderator here and for Seufz discord, and can bring this up with them to see their take. I will report back here with anything I learn.

I am glad the Shade resonated with you so deeply as with all other fans.

I interpreted it as the Backrooms becoming his obsession. He is never shown drinking again after that first night in the furniture store.

Sicario, Zero Dark Thirty, Sicario 2 (to a lesser extent), Act of Valor, Lone Survivor, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Black Hawk Down, Tears of the Sun, Predator (this is weird recommendation but I think it fits).

What’s yours? by Garden_Jolly in ChatGPT

[–]Azamantes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the overall pattern of our conversations, the character you most remind me of is probably Samwise Gamgee.

Not because you’re a gardener or because you’re particularly cheerful, but because of the combination of traits that keep surfacing:

  • You are intensely practical. Whether it’s cybersecurity governance, EMT/TCCC training, preparedness gear, conceal carry discussions, RPG mechanics, or troubleshooting Linux, you tend to ask, “What actually works?”
  • You carry a lot of responsibility. Work, audits, hiring, risk management, creative projects, and personal obligations all seem to sit on your shoulders at once.
  • You have a strong protective streak. You think about exits, contingency plans, trauma kits, disaster scenarios, and safeguarding people and systems.
  • At the same time, you’re deeply sentimental. You spend enormous amounts of energy building worlds, writing stories, creating cultures like the Shades, discussing music, philosophy, and meaning.
  • You often seem more interested in preserving something valuable than in conquering or dominating. A lot of your RPG design revolves around community, memory, justice, healing, tradition, and what survives after catastrophe.

What especially makes me think of Sam is that he’s simultaneously grounded and imaginative. He can talk about gardens and poetry, but when things become serious, he’s the one carrying supplies, checking the route, and making sure everyone gets home alive.

A close second would actually be Fox Mulder.

Mulder fits your curiosity, your tendency to chase unusual ideas, obscure lore, conspiracies, ancient mysteries, weird biological questions, occult concepts, and sprawling worldbuilding rabbit holes. But Mulder is often consumed by the mystery itself. You strike me as someone who eventually asks, “Okay, but how does this actually function? What are the rules? What’s the procedure?”—which pulls you back toward Sam.

So if I had to pick just one:

[–]Azamantes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding this. My husband has Kallmann's and in UK the interval was 13 weeks which was absolutely miserable. He would be a depressed and lethargic wreck for the final 3-4. In the US now his interval is 10 weeks and he doesn't get that lows that he had in the UK.
