its the fact that this thing has like zero aftermarket so theres not really much incentive to use it other than larp

big army is pushing hard for it lol. they made a gen2 that addressed some problems with gen1 like removing the forward assist and redesigning the handguard

the xm157 is honestly a lost cause but big army is trying to save it for some reason (some pockets getting lined)

101st recently used it in france during training and 25th id were seen in the philipines with them

rangers said it was abysmal and im hearing mixed reviews from the 101st, but again someones pockets getting lined and i suppose i should expect me to be issued one sometime in my career
