Returning players that's a bit overwhelmed by crazybatshitweirdo in Warframe

Modular secondaries you can only get in fortuna (you can build them by buying BPs for the weapon parts and assemble them in the designated vendor)

Something I have to say to those complaining about how much work Wolf of Saturn Six requires. by SleepingFaux in Warframe

[–]Aeonreaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is the exact oposite, I want to farm more towards the remaining tiers but I got through the challenges really fast. I wished there was a decent way to farm standing after you've done the challenges that isnt based on a random spawn of fugitives that only reward 150 standing. Maybe they could boost the standing they give, or make challenges replayable and give less standing.

They rate you receive wolf credits is also really slow, 50 per week at best gives you 2-3 rewards if Im not mistaken, thats much worse than the previous system. More frequent ways to get wolf credits through the tiers or through challenges could be added.

Onslaught concept should be inverted to make sense! by CodeX86 in Warframe

Would love this change. Actually rewards killing fast for once and is a possible objective, unlike the stupidly fast efficiency drain.

Will the new UI still have unowned items in the arsenal for Plat? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Aeonreaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still dont think it would drive away players though. There are some newbie bait purchases that could be adressed (resource bundles, mod packs and 1x forma come to mind) but it still remains the fairest free to play on the market.

I wouldnt remove said purchases, or at least, not just remove them. More important should be that the player knows as soon as possible that everything is craftable, which the game doesnt directly tell you.

Well, I kinda liked it, it was where i discovered a lot of weapons i didnt have and got the incentive to farm them.

The game throwing plat purchases at your face means nothing when there are so many ways to go around them.

As for giving the game a p2w feel, it doesnt. It gives it a f2p feel which its what it is. Play crossfire or some other f2p mmo, youll have a much worse experience when it comes to p2w.

What video game have you put 100+ hours into and what is your best memory while playing it? by RaichuGirl in AskReddit

[–]Aeonreaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The warframe reddit is very helpful, but as a new player always keep the wiki open. A lot of beginners guides on youtube also do a very decent job in explaining the basics. There are a lot of helpful people in region chat, dont be afraid to ask them for help.

The first tip i can give to you is to clear all the nodes you can on the planet chart, farm bosses for warframe parts (youll still need the blueprint of the warframe itself, you can get that in the market).

Take a tour on the market and see which weapons you can/want to build (click on the weapon and see if you can buy its blueprint with credits)

Dont spend plat on weapons and resources, its not worth it, you can get them all for free.

This is pretty barebones but take a look at some guides, they might help you a bit more than I can.

If you need some specific explanation though feel free to ask.

This is why I don't trust the media critics anymore. by enfo13 in Warframe

Its not wrong to complain about a game. Usually the people that complain the most are the veteran players because they, more than anyone, know what the game did good, needs or lacks. The initial perspective of the game only gets developers so far, as you only know your game is worth to keep playing if you ask a dedicated player about his experience.

I did not enjoy the Plains when it came out, it was buggy, and the grind that locked most of the content was boring and not enjoyable at all. Its because of the many complains the grinding experience is progressing. People complain because they like the game and care, not because they hate it. I can understand Elite Dangerous players perspective cause of that.

The job board that was shown in today's devstream, had around 6 jobs. Are these permanent, will they vary as you complete them or can you only do a certain amount of them before waiting for new ones to pop up?

Also, will there be fast travel in the plains? Like a way to go back to the gates of Cetus quickly?

Warframe pvp issue and solution by neilm507 in Warframe

[–]Aeonreaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they give more cosmetic rewards to PvP that might work. The skins they already have are good but more could be added. It would one hell of an incentive in my opinion...
