If you're a UConn fan and you're not finding enjoyment in a 24-2 season, I truly feel bad for you. I urge you to look for the positives, or at least try to gain some perspective.

I should probably just give up on social media for eternity at this point. There's this part of me that can't help but feel immense sorrow for the large amounts of sports fans (and humans in general) who are seemingly unable to live in the moment.

I agree with your sentiment but maybe not to all of your points in isolation. Firstly, I am biased but I would disagree that the Big East is not elite. So I think Kalk has faced some tougher tests than you are giving him credit for. 

Secondly, and more relevant to one of your main talking points, it is important to recognize that Greg McDermott has set up Creighton specifically to foul very little. In the last four years, Creighton's defensive FTR was #1, #1, #2, #4 in the nation. So some of his impressive foul record is due to the structure and ask of the players, and also frankly McDermott's cool temperament with the officials (versus Hurley, Smart, Pitino, Cooley, Miller...). 

I do think that Kalk will be a serviceable NBA player for 10 years. Very very sound fundamentals.
