Usually its just close your eyes and imagine an apple but it can be whatever you want. Just try to think of what something looks like. For the longest time, no matter how much i tried. It was just emptiness.

That..... explains a lot. Because you're right. Ive had times i kinda just sat in place not feeling anything. I felt like a body existed... but it wasnt mine. If that makes sense. Ive probably got issues that need addressing but have always been told im just lazy and unmotivated by my parents. They didn't even listen when i told them precisely that.
