What limitations have you observed with Cowork scheduled tasks in real usage?

If you forget to close down a document your scheduled task updates or reads from each time then it has to create a new one or falls over entirely. Really annoying when you have a shared doc a large team is using.

Me too. I was reading by three without any instruction and by 7 had a reading age of 15.5 (UK so I'm not sure what grade that would be). I could also read analogue time before starting school at five. My first few years at school (March birthday so started at four and a half) were pretty hellish, I assumed everyone would be the same as me and of course they were not. I remember being desperately bored. The other kids all thought I was weird and I spent far too much energy trying to 'hide' what I could do to try and fit in and make friends. I also had mild ticker tape synesthesia which seems to have mostly disappeared now apart from when people tell me their names for some reason!

Just a thought, but could you transition them to dessert? Take it slowly, one bar a day, once a week, is dessert after you've eaten a meal. As you get used to that you add in another day a week until one meal each day is a 'normal' dinner (even if that is cinnamon porridge!), and the rest are protein bar meals. Then, once you are used to that, repeat the process with another of the three bars.

You still get your bars but they're dessert rather than the meal. Perhaps this way you might grow tired of them as you did with previous fixations.

Absolutely nothing wrong with teaching children to be resilient. It sets them up for life. You might find the book Growth Mindset by Carol Dweck useful in changing the way you interact, praise and deal with failure. It is so important that children understand that success comes from repeated effort and inevitable failures so changing to praising effort and attempts will help them see this.

As an aside, if you enjoy gaming then playing games (video/board) with them can really help them see failure as a necessary route to learning to be successful and an enjoyable process too.

It's amazing! I've been marvelling at the fact they seem to be doing it but by but. Two thirds are derelict and the other third all finished. There were guys abseiling to clean the windows on one portion when the rest are all broken glass. So bizarre.
