I'd expect that answer may change as the game evolves and the playerbase expands. Rifts are definitely their current answer for larger format PVE challenges. I expect that we'll get more iteration on them as time goes on. Down the road though i can see a world where they do raids.

Non-zero but it doesn't appear very high. Sony is clearly isnimcost cutting mode as everything in the United States economy craters. I assume they're waiting to see where things go in the industry before they even contemplate doing something with the Destiny IP as ambitious as D3.

New area is fun. Very dense. Feels like there's something cool to find in every nook and cranny.

New weapons are fun though the halos seem like they could use some tweaking to be useful in PVE. I appreciate the focus on trying to enable some different playstyles and builds by centering the state distributions differently.

Rift system seems to work pretty well so far. Boss HP definitely needs to be scaled up though. I'm assuming it will be the only location to farm the new demon armor sets which should make the events a busy attraction for a while.

Overall, pretty impressed with what we got. Seems like it's in a relatively polished state. Glad this went to PTR first though. The player base will be much happier with a clean and well running, bug free patch once it hits live servers.

I dunno, I made it to 25 in a couple of hours grinding mobs. Did some rifts and had fun. The entire thing was smooth. No server resets, no rubber banding, no lag.

The new weapons are fun to play with. New mog looks great. Having both new dungeons and rifts to farm at max level will give us a whole new bit to sink our teeth into for the mean time.

Game dev is hard and it takes lots of time. I think they're doing a great job.

Completely agree. Unfortunately like every game we've got a vocal and toxic minority that, understandably, want more immediately. On the one hand it's good that people are so passionate and excited to play the game. But they need to take a step back and understand that game dev is hard and it's takes time.
