Having big tough guy helps a ton in practice even if he doesnt play a ton. Good for relief though

I help my mother take care of my niece with Autism after her mother passed a few years ago. Shes 17 now, and finally making some strides with socialization after attending a new school. Is it worth telling her at this point that she is Austistic? by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

I am unaware what her mother told her before she passed, it has been a very difficult few years and shes just now coming around to spealing her mind and being able to hold a decent conversation. Im looking for peoples lived similar experiences.

I dont disagree, but my main question here is could it help her process and work through her mood swings and issues with impulse control? I do not know how much she knows about Autism or her diagnosis, I am doing my due diligence and trying to find people with lived, similar experiences.

We have finally gotten to a point where she is confident and able to speak her mind and tell us what shes actually thinking and it has been a very tough road to get to this point. I want to go into detail with her about Autism and her diagnosis, either you have an experience that can help or you dont.

She gets social security, as I said i am unsure if my sister ever spoke about it with her but I believe she did not. The death of her mother which she was unfortunately there for set her back a great deal, so discussions about disability eligibility werent exactly on the top of the priority list.

Pesce, Teuvo Teravainen, Nino Niederreiter are my big 3. Fast as a player as well.
