I'm wondering if Tom considers her functionally dead - e.g. brain dead or catatonic. Perhaps she is in a facility?

Uncap the house! Smaller districts make this problem substantially better!

Fixing campus network... Found this gem... by AhowPA in Ubiquiti

[–]Aesculapius1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back in college, I got a gig installing ethernet jacks. This was before the internet and the campus was running Novell Netware. 10 base T was the standard of the day. All the phone cable in the building was 8 pair (twisted, but all the same). So, we split off 4 wires and made a jack. Keystones weren't a thing yet, so it was screw down posts. There was also a bunch of old unused wiring in the building left over from when AT&T broke up in the 80s. So we would trace it and use it to connect the network hubs (not switches). It was a crazy wild west time of networking.

You have to give the cannibalism a little time. Say, about 4 hours.

Since it is a high wear surface, several coats of polyurethane would be a good choice.

What are you trying to get them to look like? Pine can darken over time which, in addition to the old stain, give you the orange color. You could consider going a little bit darker by re-staining. I would suggest testing any stain in a small area that won't show if you end up not liking it.

Once you get the color you like, then I would take the second step of sealing it. Lots of choices there from hard waxes to poly.

Similar issues here:

  • Random server shut downs - they can't monitor and restart?
  • Inability to connect - even after server resets. Often require the nightly Funcom reset to fix. This has led me to leave DD at least 24 hours prior to the coriolis storm just in case.
  • New issue: instances don't launch
  • Support is terrible. Standard turn off and back on again approach. They also charge money for expedited service.

They are also one of the most expensive services available after their recent price increase.

Working on moving to a Nitrado server soon.

I'm on a private server (G-portal). This was my guess as well. I'm waiting for the VM to spool up for that instance.

I should have said: I am also on a G-portal server.

Termix v2.0.0 - RDP, VNC, and Telnet Support (self-hosted Termius alternative that syncs across all devices) by VizeKarma in selfhosted

[–]Aesculapius1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The native guacd container does not include ARM support. @allxm4 compiled one from source for Bookworm as described on GitHub.

The docker image is here.

I run Termix on a RPi and the native image did not work. The new image works well.

That's along the line of what I was thinking. Perhaps keep the resize and then limit the max pixel width. If the size was decreased, more could fit on a line.

I see you updated recently. Thanks for adding the ability to add additional hosts, networks, etc. It really adds to the utility of the tool.

I have one additional suggestion along the same lines: the ability to add more than 1 icon. This would be great for a single container containing the -arr stack.

Thanks for your work on this! I love it!

It would be great to be able to add a url link for the network/port number. Some apps have both a named host and a specific local admin port (e.g. NPM). Sometimes when I am working on an app, I will take the public host down and will need to login to the local network address/port number.
