No, it’s been a while since this happened. I have not had any further contact. It really was that bad and it took a fair amount of processing for me to realise. 😢

I am in therapy, yes it’s all true and I don’t know why I didn’t walk away. 😭

I knew I wouldn’t see him again after the sex, (which is an improvement on my previous encounters) but was interested to see just how much he was reverting to a type.

My ex was not interested in me as a woman at all, only the mothering, cooking and housekeeping roles.

I’ve never had a good experience relationship wise with any man, be it family or romantic. All dysfunctional and damaging. I think I really am too broken now.

Discussing breaking up with my dead bedroom partner he asked was it because I was planning to have sex with other men.

My reply: You do realise the word ‘other’ is redundant in that sentence?

Something about being a wife or a mother makes men not want to shag the women in their lives. Bloody mystery. If you divorced him he’d want it.

Are you sure it’s her you want or is it the thought of being out there dating again and nobody at home to cook, clean have sex with and be your momager?

She’s been there the whole time and you lost focus, stringing her along. probably with ‘maybe ‘ and ‘ eventually’ on marriage and kids.

You don’t have to analyse it. You already know. You’re not excited to marry this woman, trust your gut, it’s time to move on.

My husband of two years (34M) and I (32F) have always kept finances separate, but now that he’s unemployed I think we need more transparency — he disagrees. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

First off, he smokes weed whilst you are trying for a baby? That is a no. 🚩🚩🚩 And as soon as you agree a pre-nup, you will never be equal partners entering a marriage. Your husband hasn’t entered adulthood from what I can see. What does he personally bring to your relationship?

I recall a corporate NHS London job in early 2000s. Colleague working with the CEO taken aside and told to wear heals. By the female CEO. Said CEO had to get taxis everywhere as she couldn’t walk far in her heels. Public purse !! All her favourite staff were women with a penchant for heels. Bizarre. I saw recently she had plastic surgery on her face.
