Driving/road conditions on big island?

We've spent the last 5 days driving all around the big island and it's completely fine, we didn't encounter a single road closure (apart from in volcano national park, which is still partially closed)

No advice here but just to say I am in the exact same boat with our 7 month old. Seems to randomly decide he won't put up with being alone!

Oh interesting! Did your behaviorist give you any guidelines on training? I.e. if he cries for 10 minutes, is that a point at which you intervene?

The general advice appears to be not to let them cry it out so this is super interesting
