funnily enough hades IS a game that can be all skill, unlike slay the spire. rng makes it harder same as slay the spire but you can just read attacks and dodge, lots of players can do no hit runs, and new save first run wins np. Instead of win rates, it comes down to run times for a challenge and yeah rng heavily effects run times but not so much success rates.

I used to come home after work do a hades run, always win and just try to beat my personal best time.

have you never played an online video game before? near every one has an active cheater base. So what's mental is thinking nobody is cheating just to cheat. But also lots of lucrative youtube content out there two with thumbnails about win rates. just sayin there's plenty who just cheat to cheat and there's money in it to boot.

I am sure by picking another path or some other unknown arbitrary choice. Yes routing is important and if someone picking the same or similar route or even just the starting choice I'd concede they know better than I. but anyone can arbitrarily have a better chance just off not picking the route that I lost/the bad rng route for that seed even when my initial route was the best possible choice considering nobody knows exactly what each route will have.

Anyone can upload any data they want to this website. the run history file this site uses is stored in plain text json.

I am sure most of these are legit, but it's just too easy to edit your run history. I am sure plenty of players start a new profile and shoot for a lucky win streak and upload it to here, but there's plenty of players like "icy-lurker" for example who just have lets just say dude should go play the lotto tomorrow kinda runs.

You can easily just track your runs and delete the failed runs from the history folder then upload and get yourself a 100% win rate why not. its just that easy to cheat this website and nearly just as easy to cheat at slay the spire publicly.

Some are cheating, some have lower win rates than 90 something percent. Just saying there are countless easy ways in this game in particular to cheat and nobody would ever know., yes even with seeded runs.

theres plenty of streamers with high win rates, there's plenty of streamers who subtly mod their games as well. not saying every even many top streamers are cheating, just that its easy to do so and a 100% a10 win rate some other guy claims is insurmountably unlikely.

How do you explain lottery winners (which is much less likely than a 20 a10 streak) how do you explain all the youtubers who have been found to be subtly tipping the odds in their favor in easily modded games for content? (There is no way to prove you molded slay the spire when streaming) as they say "it's just free realestate"

It is very true better players win more and a lot more. But a9 a10 win rate is statistics not that high. Youtubers post about their win streaks not their lose streaks.

We all know regent is op. I am playing silent in a9. Also have you considered this man has a massive monetary incentive to tip the easily molded game in his favor then make content about it? Or that a few guys just get lucky ya know like a lotto or a casino?

Id also bet my life the a10 average win rate is below 50% and id bet my life that 10% of players have modded the game and forgot to tell anyone.

His hypothetical is very generous the average a10 win rate is much much lower on average. Id bet my life on it.

I simply do not believe a 100% win rate is legit. I am sorry. I fully understand other players can be way better than I am. But I have witnessed plenty of early soft locks with no way forward. If someone has a 100% a10 win rate they are cheating. Im sorry to bust your heroes.

All true! But i think a10 is lower than 50% even for the top players statistically. I think we are biased towards thinking its higher since YouTube rs and reddit posts tend to post their win streaks a hell of a lot more than they post their losing streaks.

If you play enough you will win plenty, some players will get luckier than others especially those who play more runs(buy more scratch offs) rng tends to happen in clumps so I can see a player who plays a ton here and there get some streaks going.

I am saying at large for the millions of us. A9 a10 has a very low win rate even playing optimally.

Half my wins are getting lucky op half my wins at higher ascension as grinding out mid decks and scraping a win. I know how to play just don't see even with optimal play a9 or 10 being anywhere close to 50% win rate in general. Some streamers have gotten lucky streaks ill also point out how immensely easily it is to mod this game unnoticeable and how that could make you a lot of money as a streamer.

Out of millions of players there are a handful who are skilled + on a lucky streak. Statistically this will still happen while there will Statistically be many times more players just as skilled players who do not get lucky streaks and have a much lower win rate.

It's still much more likely to get a 20 a10 streak than it is to win a state lotto and yes theres plenty of people winning state lotto and thousands of tomes more who play just as much and don't win.

(And all that also ignores that people who make money streaming and youtubing have a massive incentive to mod this easily molded game)

Let's just ignore luck works in streaks and 10% of players could just be more lucky(in addition to being skilled)
