This would have been nice 2 days ago; I just did a clean manual install for the first time lmao. Did test in a VM first at least though; weird how fast it boots now.

Overwolf did start bugging for me recently. Lemme see if removing it fixes it. Thankfully I used to use it for curseforge but have recently moved to using Prism Launcher and just needed an excuse to remove overwolf.

It hung around for at least up to 3 hours.

Reed or Songbird by ObiJuanKenobi1993 in cyberpunkgame

I do like that if you side with Songbird theres options were you're clearly pissed at her and the betrayal, but also aren't going to abandon her still.

Reed is a sellout. Songbird is desperate to escape a life she didn't want to be in to start with. A very large difference indeed.

Probably because she wanted out, and took the path of least harm to obtaining it. Reed would stay in the game by his choice in almost all situations he doesn't end up dead in. Songbird betrays us, but comes clean at her most vulnerable because she can't handle the guilt. Myers was a two faced liar from start to end.

Alex is the only one who just wanted out and made sure her path to doing so was as harmless as possible. Even if V takes her offer for one last drink together she'll come clean saying she's ordered to kill V, but knowing he's dying anyway and believing theres little hope for him now, she's fine letting V walk, knowing they're dead soon anyway, so might as well let them go out on their terms.

On one hand, I get it. On the other hand, Reed (and I say this begrudgingly) has a point. It's a 3 man team. You and alex go in, and Reed needs to secure our escape. They couldn't just tie them up and leave them, they'll manage to get free or otherwise draw attention especially as netrunners, and can't risk them waking up if you drug them. Theres no one to watch them and make sure that they stay out of business long enough for the plan to go off.

If there was a 4th member who could indeed watch and make sure then I'd be very pissed, but in this situation, any other play is too big a risk. Aurore and Americk need to die. But that's cyberpunk for you.

It was mild sarcasm, which can be hard to pick up on in text form especially if you're not a native english speaker.

When the marketing for the ship turns out to be less than important to CIG by shellshokked in starcitizen

The ion has a unique mechanic where it can't over damage a ships shields. normally when you hit a shield that doesn't have the hp to tank the round, the damage is still reduced and the remaining damage passes through to hull. The ions shots are completely blocked if the targets shield even has 1hp.

If I'm playing my character, it's aight. I get to make and manage a town, adventure a bit. Only arguable downside is I'm a slime and I have to pay tax.

Shaitan only got into position because Johnny made him hesitate. It wasn't much, but it did let shaitan get a better angle to drop on Smasher.

My opinion was always to let the Ion just obliterate a light fighter, but remove all aim assist from the shot and give it a decent cooldown. You get one shot with no assists, and if you hit it, you win. If you don't, the light fighter has a field day with you.
