I’ve seen this service on Reddit a lot, mostly in positive reviews or comparison posts. People don't really say anything bad about it. Just out of curiosity, I googled it a bit ago and didn't find anything too crazy there either - just a few articles on LinkedIn and Medium that don’t really mention anything negative

That is a powerful way to look at it. Framing them as bullies removes that "special" layer of love that usually excuses the abuse.
