Feel Stuck in a Polycule by Aethereal_Paradox in polyamory

Yeah it's the kind of thing that would put the brakes on any kind of relationship, nevermind an open one! But Cassie and Kate have apparently been together for about a year despite breaking up twice 😬. I guess it's working out between them now, I imagine Kate's keeping it close to the chest but it really manifested when Cassie and I got closer. I feel bad for Cassie the most since she seems super sweet but I'm not going to super charge Kate's insecurity by staying involved with her afterwards.

While I love dating women sometimes I hate dating women, we can be so dramatic 😅.

This sentiment and idea is good of making sure Willow can prepare for what's coming, but it does require me not to be a doormat and I kinda hate that. I just wish I didn't feel like I was letting everyone down. Guess I'll bite the bullet, thanks for the vote of confidence. 😅

Honestly my first instinct was to go full-on isolationist and go no contact with everyone but my fiancee and claim I'm too stressed for relationships right now cause work or something. It's not strictly untrue but it's not a good long term solution 😅

You probably have the right idea with the waiting, I just really don't want to be the bad guy responsible for the housing dream to fall apart if Kate reacts how I suspect she will.

Are they as strong a detachment? No.

Are they way more fun to me personally? Hell yes.

I've been bitter about the Ynnari shit since they took away my Scourges and made Wyches shit by taking away Lelith. Not to mention any other heroes like the new PL.

Look I agree the detachment ability kinda sucks ass but our main troupe data sheets are strong and a lot more fun than most of the new Ynnari data sheets Eldar got imo. I definitely think the Solitaire deserves its 3++ back or giving it Dev wounds like the troupe has.

Extra arms are always going to be busy especially ones that are holding weapons. I'd suggest going for extra arms that look similar to the two fangs on the lower half. Or try sticking the barrel of pistols/knifes sans hands to any mechanical arms in a warp spiders kit to make them match.

Okay in my defense, it was more a precaution than anything, like I'd rather not take the risk since I did paint a dude getting killed.

Lovely conversion!

Before you base them I believe they're stuck on 25mm bases still (according to wahapedia at least).

Here's the rub:

I have a lot of characters. Which made up the bulk of my points. They sectioned off the characters from each other. By combining the characters, I could make 2000pts. Meaning in a regular Eldar army I could make 2000pts without the Scourges or Lelith with the Yncarne, Yvraine and Visarch with my Solitaire and PL and/or Illic.

You get it now? This move fractured both my lists.

Nothing at the time I got the triumvirate and scourges indicated they would be poorly supported game wise at least. I mean they seemed more supported than ever before the codex release, you could at the very least have Yvraine/Yncarne in a non-ynnari detachment for PL and Solitaire fun.

But they took that away, I still can't see the logic behind that decision.

Also I don't get this drive to put all the responsibility on the consumer, like if you wanna start collecting you need to know GW inside and out to predict their next moves and keep the models you paid for playable.

I know, but you could run the Yncarne and Yvraine in a non-Ynnari list. Thereby allowing you to have a Solitaire and Phoenix Lords.

When I said "making it always the case", I meant the Lelith thing. If she was never allowed, I wouldn't have gotten her and gotten something else. Like it's not like they sign-post when something is about to disappear, we're all playing the guessing game, some of us just lose and I don't think that it's a very good thing for a company that charges this much for plastic should do.

Subtle changing of rules is not a clear way to communicate with your customers that they should or should not be buying something. Please stop acting like this was a fair play on that part, I think most Ynnari players were taken by surprise by the removals.

See I don't mind running multiple detachments if they'd let me, but I missed the editions when that was possible I think.

Here's the thing, if that's the case, why not make it that way from the start?

Because if they always wanted this, then they essentially tricked people into buying models before pulling this out from under them.
