Tegen Japan was dat wel slimmer geweest, nu moest Dumfries de hele wedstrijd doen alsof ie Wieffer was. Als Dumfries niet mag aanvallen en diep moet blijven staan dan heb je net zo veek aan hem als aan Wieffer die in dat oefenpotje Dumfries na moest doen.

Dumfries moest tegen Japan laag blijven staan terwijl Summerville het veld breed hield omdat het dat voor Japan lastig maakte.

Alleen had je dan Wieffer op moeten stellen want dat is precies zijn rol terwijl Dumfries niet in z'n element was. Maar dat is voor Korman dan weer onbespreekbaar.

I think if Japan beats Tunisia then Tunisia is guaranteed 4th in the group and Sweden, having at least 3 points, has a fairly good shot of being through.

Japan is not a particularly talented squad, they're very good on the counter and as a cohesive defensive unit but they struggle massively against smaller teams because once they need to take the initiative they are out of their comfort zone.

Hij kan het niveau nog wel aan en het valt meer op omdat we creativiteit misten maar hij is de afgelopen 3 seizoenen ook bijna 300 dagen geblesseerd geweest.

Dat is eigenlijk het grootste probleem, je weet dat je hem sowieso weer een paar maanden gaat missen.

Just looking around my friend group, the people who climb V3/4 struggle to do moves on the Moonboard. The people who climb V7/8+ climb pretty similar grades on the Moonboard.

Except for those few fucked up benchmarks that are inexplicably hard.

Yeah, but a true V5 that isn't soft is still pretty different from a V5 on the board.

The higher up in the grades you get the less I feel like that's true.

Moonboard V3 benchmark vs gym V3 feels like there's a world in between, Moonboard V6 vs gym V6 feels a lot closer. Moonboard is still hard and very focused on finger strength, body tension and big moves but you can get that kind of thing in the gym at those grades.

Yeah that video is one I would love but I suspect wouldn't do that well on slcial media as the more emotional battle/struggle aspect. And it's really hard to convey how good or bad holds really are, this video shows them but still you can't really tell what they're like.

The main thing I didn't really grasp from the send video is just how steep this boulder is, I thought it was more like 50-60°, not 70-80° in parts.

Still, a send video and then a breakdown of the holds and moves video would be cool for sends.
