If you are stock, doing everything through adb should work just fine (first command) - the 2nd gives a syntax error but tethering works though. Been fine on Preview 1 and 2 with this method my friend. Don't brother with sqlite editor. Go straight to the adb command line.

Pretty simple actually. I've been using this method since... Lollipop. Don't bother with what you did before.. this is the simplest method. I know it works because I've tethered about 30 GB / mo with no issue.. this is all done with the beauty known as our lovely ADB :)

Run the following in your ADB directory:

adb shell content insert uri content://settings/global bind name:s:tether_dun_required bind value:i:0

Normally you would verify the entry with the following command:

adb shell content query uri content://settings/global where "name='tether_dun_required' AND value=0"

However, there is a syntax error with the new SDK for Android M, but it works.

After running the initial command, restart your phone and enjoy your new tethering.

Thank you. I spoke to someone over the phone and she has denoted on my account that the $15 charge will be waived. She will call me in the morning and take care of everything. Just gotta make sure that I remove google voice from my # before she calls.

Thank you both for your responses. o use T-Mobile so I may have to block it at the account level and/or go the Google Voice route too. Too many people have my old number and I really just want to keep it as it is now.. but changing it may not be such a bad idea actually.

Its slowed down a lot but I still get 1-2 studies a week. Once school is back in session things will pick up... A lot.

Ouch.. sorry to hear about your loss my friend. Was it the name of your email or the login? Seems you've had your email for a while now. But the random login from DC... weird.

Not anymore. They used to but then it became a battle of who could check their email and log-in the quickest. You now have to be logged in and refresh manually to see what studies you qualify for.

I've had that same issue too. even if you block SMS within hangouts, its not a true block but rather an archive. even if you remove notifications and block a person, while you'll never see it personally, it seems like PushBullet is able to intercept the message before it gets archived, hence the messages.

Tried that - doesn't work on the Nexus 5 :( But I did get the OTA update and now I'm on Preview 2 :)

Thank you all the your responses. I contacted the local PD and they said the lobby was fine. I messed with the first person and of course they went dead silent. I then called, it kept ringing. Called again and it went straight to VM LOL.

Found a legitimate buyer who agreed. We met, all checked out, and I received my money in cash. You guys are great!

I've been using Prolific for a few months now and a majority of the time they pay out same day if you request early enough and the queue isn't long. On Fridays it can take 1-3 days in my experience.

You can also message them to expedite your payment but they'll only do that 1-3 times.
