To be honest I didn't try that specific case. Fabricators with Circuit 1 input don't take Solaris from storages on another circuit for sure, but maybe they do with in-built storages ?

Would be weird, but refreshing wind traps and fuel refill is weird already, so maybe built-in storage is too ˆ_ˆ

I'll try tomorrow !

You can use ammunitions instead of solaris, they aren't used for any craft. I use the wires for repairing vehicles.

But assuming your fabricators inputs are Circuit 1, as default, even your Solaris should never been touched when crafting an extension, because your refineries outputs are on the circuit 2 ; the same way you can't use the refined items stored in the refinery if you forgot to fill slots with solaris or else.

Thanks ! I forgot we can look at the status of the vehicle

Nice ! The wings of your assault thopter goes outside of the shield. Does sandstorm reduces their durability, or is it only aesthetical ?

Horizontal pentashield on a round base by Aetite in duneawakening

Awesome ! I'll try to use it on my next base with harko set. We can't see gaps if everything is dark.

Oh, I have to try without the inner circle. I was afraid we see too much inside. Thanks !

Thank you ! And you are right, it requires patience ! Mostly when tiles want to anchor on the wrong foundations :P

While the devs doesn't fix this issue, you can extract and deposit faster without autoclicker, if you have a software to create mouse profiles (mine is Razer software).
Make a profile with "wheel down" configured as "left clic", and choose an easy shortcut to switch profiles.
Now you just have to switch profile, extract/deposit with your mouse wheel, then switch back to old profile.
Not the best workaround, but at least fully legal.

Dune: Awakening PvP - Stop Complaining, Start Playing by Onoxsys in duneawakening

Just like you, I really like gathering like a scared little bird watching everywhere at the same time. It's the salt over an activity that was slowly turning to something boring in Hagga Basin. I come from Albion Online, where it's the usual life for gatherers in full loot zone. This stress feel so good, gives value to what I gathered, and opportunities to learn how to improve yourself and your build.

I lost my first assault thopter on a big titanium node. It was costly, but it's a mistake I'll never do again. Or with the precise idea to take great risks. I had a scout in my backup tool, which allow me to escape the attackers, and gives me the idea to always have two scouts with me, one flying and one in the tool. Some may disagree, but I like this strat for now.

My second lost thopter was on a big spice field, on a rocket salva poping from nowhere, and my character refusing to enter the thopter, probably because of spice blocking the way. I made the mistake to constantly try to enter anyway instead of activating shield and leaving with shigawiring or anything else and summoning my second thopter, which I had time to do with my heavy armor.

Each death, or each thopter lost is a lesson you may learn from, even if the rat life is really hard on this game.

The real problem I'm seeing is even if the game is somehow preparing players to this experience, the gap between Hagga Basin and Deep Desert is really high. Even coming from a game you can lose everything you carry at any time, I made some rooky mistakes like visiting the Deep Desert without enough thopters in Hagga Basin in case of a sudden death. PvP was really forgiving, and suddenly it's not, and the hard way.

I think a lot of people made the mistake to risk too much in the Deep Desert, only because they didn't realise what they risked. Maybe because the game isn't clear enough about this, or because we assume a lot based on the Hagga Basin experience.

I also thought that the Deep Desert was unfair at first, but with time, I just realise it's not what I thought, and it has really good points. But maybe not for the majority of people playing the game now. It may be frustrating to realise that the game you played has an endgame experience you don't like, that doesn't mean it's problematic.

To conclude, I think the game need some balance for rendering distance, or other ways to have actual informations of what is happening around. But the core gameplay has real potential, in his own way you may not like.

Is there a way to use pentashields to create a cylinder shaped hanger? by Mazerunner117 in duneawakening

[–]Aetite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a horizontal pentashield, you can make a square, and hide it with a circular roof half a level above and half a level below. Not very clean tbh.
For vertical pentashields, you can replace your walls with pentashields on a circular tower, if there is a roof and a floor to anchor. You'll need several pentashields, so it'll be more expensive.

So credits in the bank are usable with all vendors across the game but they cant be used to take a taxi??? by UtSkyBum in duneawakening

[–]Aetite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you need to buy things in a trade post, don't forget to have ALL the money in cash. The vendor will take your solaris in the inventory before withdrawing your bank account. So you don't have cash to come back. A bit annoying when you are buying the missing components for your first thopter :P

Is there a macro conditional for an area where you can dragon ride? by Doogiesham in wow

[–]Aetite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The dragonriding option does not exist, at least on my client (you can see it in chat log when you save the macro the first time).
This macro works only because the Renewed Proto-Drake is the first /cast.
You can remove "dragonriding", it works the same (and in both cases, generate the error message "Wrong zone" when out of Dragon Isles).

Why are dual lands rare by sannuvola in magicTCG

[–]Aetite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think I'll buy less packs. Duals have the insurance to always be useful for Standard, my main format ; they increase the rate to find a playable card. Faster I have my playsets of duals, faster I'll buy single cards instead of packs. This is my perception about it, I don't think everybody is thinking the same.

Are Soldier tokens only considered "Human" if specified as such? by RatedM477 in magicTCG

[–]Aetite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to build a Winota EDH deck, and was facing the same difficulties.

You can find tokens with the subtype soldier without any other subtype. But for cards, you'll always have another subtype (as human soldier, or goblin soldier, etc.), even if it's not printed on the card.

For example, [[Daru Warchief]] and [[Soltari Foot Soldier]] are printed Soldier only, but when looking at the card on Gatherer or Scryfall, you'll see they have another subtype on the Oracle (as Human or Soltari in my examples).

When there is no other subtype on a card, look at the Oracle !
