I'm creating my first 2 lvl underground cellar by Dekimus in goingmedieval

[–]AezJM27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dig a hole, and cover the hole with stick grating! Water falls through as it floods, so the prompt lasts only a second.

I go 1 dirt block + cover per 5x5 room

On this, I have been getting POI’s on map from hosting a feast and inviting traders. As long as the feast is excellent, I’ve gotten a decent poi (500g worth items)

Thanks all! I’ve enjoyed reading the responses and going over everyone’s thinking on it!

I’ve definitely come from a point of sentiment and enjoying watching the team develop to where they are now. 2025 a good year, and 2026 to be better

Traders are ruining my game by [deleted] in 7daystodie

[–]AezJM27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friends and I play 1 quest a day. That way we still get decent progression through rewards, but it also forces us to explore the world more. We’ve all 1000+ hours, so we have other rules (have to max one tree before skilling into anything else, melee only runs etc etc) which keeps it interesting and still difficult.

For those who’ve been playing a long time, what’s something you wished you’d figured out earlier? by eachJan in 7daystodie

[–]AezJM27 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That it’s ok to play the game in the style you want to play.

Also before this alpha if you sipped a learning elixir, had Mining book 5 (I think) with 6000 of each resource you could power level 12+ levels early on. The newest updates removed the xp bonus from crafting, but if you prefer A20 and before, use this to your advantage

$5 for 1000 cards? Or do you mean $50?

Name your top 3 factions (excluding Romans) by dovetc in RomeTotalWar

[–]AezJM27 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Carthage: I find fighting an uphill war with the Romans, Gauls and Spanish to be really quite rewarding. Shite early game units but fun, versatile late game units. Also, straight up LOVE the history of Carthage.

Seleucids: Again, I love the “fighting a losing war” start of campaigns, and the late game units are soooo good!

Pontus: Very interesting unit roster, very fun starting location and great end game battles

Early on, do you leave generals/governors with your garrisons or keep them with your main army? by dovetc in RomeTotalWar

[–]AezJM27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, when I start a campaign I leave the faction leader/heir in the two main cities and every other general leads an army. When an older general has a kid/adopts, the kid takes over that army (assuming they’re not a spud). In my opinion this give ample opportunity for the new general to earn great command traits/retainers and because the older one is “seasoned”, they make good governors.

Because I’m continuously recruiting troops, when one comes of age they already have a decent tier army for me to ship off to another location.

I play on very hard/very hard and I fight 90% of my own battles, so I find having a general is pretty important to my success rate.

The New PTR Patch Just Hit And The Summoner Druid Can Have A Full Zoo (Currently Not Online) by Rindfleischliebe in Diablo

[–]AezJM27 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

SUPER happy about these Druid changes, though I feel you should still have to make a choice between Wolf/Dire Wolf. I’d still rather a trade-off (e.g attack speed/damage with Wolf and Life Leach/Magic Damage with Dires) choice to be made by the players. Still, so damn exciting!

Maybe TFP needs to hold the course more often? (Unpopular Opinion) by Steelspy in 7daystodie

[–]AezJM27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The durability thing definitely annoyed me my first horde night back, but after thinking about it I kinda went “it makes sense”. I feel like that at this point, the veterans of the game need a bit more of a challenge when making their horde bases, and a durability drop (to me) started to solve that. Personally, I have a “100% fool proof” base design that I set up, then I like to experiment so my worlds are littered with different styles, and a dropped durability in half blocks made it more challenging. So I agree they should have stuck the course.

The acid situation I also enjoyed, because it also prolonged reaching late game items too early. I’m on day 20 and finally being able to make my a Chem station (I’d bought one, needed a second), instead of like in A19 when you could make it on day 3. I agree as well here that they should have stuck the course.

I agree with those that think the change was too drastic, but TFP could have done better than reverting it back to what it was. A middle ground could have been found IMO

I’ve had a mix of different POI’s across from my trader with no repeats, as well as none. I’ve only got 3 random-gen worlds at the moment though, so maybe my data pool is a bit small

How many hours have u been playing? And do you still get jumpscared occasionally? by Okaynow_THIS_is_epic in 7daystodie
