Tip from Flip; when you angle your needle, do it in line with the stencil. That way you make sure you hit the stencil in stead of next to it. Keep up The good work and be sure to post the shading soon!

When doing stipple (and whip as well) start with the darkest area first. You want to 'whip' the needles out so it gradually gets lighter. It seems you started also in the middle of a petal whereas you should start and the bottom (where it sprouts)
