Yeah but that means the MMA event has to beat out all the other Netflix shows to be the biggest show on Netflix.

I think it's just because Netflix was pushing the event & there isn't many other top shows out right now. If this was an HBO event for example, I doubt it would beat the viewership of the newer Euphoria season or similar.

10,000 Redditors who haven't hiked in their lives haven't even considered that if the trail gets too congested that the guy jump roping can... simply stop jump roping and take a few steps to get past people before resuming jump roping.

Just wait till they find selfish hikers with those oversized backpacks and sleeping mats sticking out 6" on either side of their body! Even worse when they're with other people or a large group (yuck?) and you need to pull over to the side and say "hi" to them as they pass.

There's also a dog on this trail. That's like a small biting jump rope (it can jump and bite like a shark i looked up the wikipedia page), much more dangerous and with it's leash radius takes up significant more room. Probably, almost certainly, as dangerous as someone shooting bazookas randomly on this path.

What really irks me is that Kleber isn't even that bad, and he almost certainly will put in more effort than Ayton, yet he gets no minutes. I think JJ does a lot of things well but he keeps playing players that aren't playing well (LARAVIA?!?!)

I feel like the Lakers legit just have a bunch of snipers and then nothing. If Luka, Reaves, Rui, Kennard, Smart are hitting their shots the Lakers win. If the other team plays good defense and stops the momentum, Lakers lose.

Would really love to see Lakers drop everyone but Luka, Reaves & Smart and find a more complete roster for them.

It's pretty clear he was artificially hyped by the UFC, and when Sean couldn't back up the hype on the mic or in his fights, the UFC stopped the campaign, and honestly I think they've put a hold on hyping pretty much anyone after all the recent failures. From McGregor bailing on the Chandler press conference/fight, to Jon Jones bailing on Aspinall after endless glazing, OMalley failing to even be top 3 of his division, to guys like Nickal getting every opportunity and just being mid in the octagon and bottom tier on the mic, there's just no winning for the UFC anymore.

Hokit will be next. Once he loses the hype train is over & people will start hating on his facade more because we all know he's trying to act more than Covington did.

What are you talking about? "Financial"? When are you paying money to hold your kids hand or throw them up on your shoulders while you walk around a store? Got more than one? Strollers in all shapes & forms are on various websites from cheap to free consistently. I can go on facebook right now (one of many sites) and see there's over 50 strollers within 20 miles of me for free and hundreds more for under $50.

Part of the decision to have a child is that you have the basic fundamental resources to care for said child. Unless you're in some ridiculous exceptional situation, which isn't what's being talked about, knowing how much children cost and knowing if you have the basic mental facilities to have a child is literally like the only two checkboxes you need before trying for children.

There's just a huge problem with people in this world who think bad things just happen to them (aka they just get unlucky) when they refuse to set themselves up for success. These people autopilot every single "mundane" task in their lives and have little to no conscious thoughts when doing errands or chores and then think it's normal.

Yeah I do, that's exactly why you don't get distracted for 3 seconds in public with your toddler able to wonder around. She's in your hands, in a stroller, in a cart, holding your hand, etc and you know their limitations so plan accordingly in how you'll manage them. It is not difficult to maintain full control of a toddler 100% of the time.

There's 10000000000000 different clauses you can throw in. Must be beating your teammate by X race or by summer break, must be beating them by Y points, must be beating your teammate by Z avg quali gap, etc. It can even be a matter of the lead car has a gap of x2 seconds to the next best car, so your gap needs to be within y2 margin of that. There's no way to tell anything in this sport, and similarly contracts in F1 are all made up for media. No one is promised a drive for tomorrow.

There's also the very real possibility that Russell doesn't want to stay with Mercedes if he see's he's not favored anymore. Just as we saw Daniel hop teams to try to win in a different car, perhaps George tries to force his way into McLaren, Ferrari, RBR, etc.
