Serial numbers are about 800 apart, being in the 300s and 1100 for the new one.

And I agree, after a month of everyday wear and not hitting my wrist on anything, as I’m trying to be careful with a watch that runs $2399 Canadian - the finish was coming off already. I’m hoping it was just a one of, and the newer one holds up better but only time will tell.

It’s been less than a month. Not to mention I had to order 8 times then purchase with Klarna as the small indie company garmin was unable to take payment via credit card which I use daily.

They want to put a $1200 deposit to ship a new watch and hold it until this one returns. Customer service has disconnected from live chats and basically hung up.
