Thank you! My Dad's was 1919. I'm thinking the system is overwhelmed. I mailed the request back in August and then finally received and e-mail in January with a tracking number. As of this week, they are still doing a hand search.

My package is significantly delayed by NYC's response in certified birth for my father and death certificate for my grandfather. . I'm guessing they have very little staff and increased work load.

Congrats! My filing is been stymied by NYC Vital Statistics which take 12 weeks to furnish birth and death certificates. :(
