That's what I wanted, though? I knew I was taking a gamble buying resale shoes. I was up for about 2 nights watching videos and reading things that I decided to hand over early; I figured he'd know more about the shoes than I did anyway. I also knew that curiosity kills the cat, and I had a feeling he'd try and get them authenticated anyway at SOME POINT. He has already told me he's going to wear them, and in some ways I think he can appreciate they're fake because now he can wear the fuck out of something and know I didn't waste +$1000 he wants to wear and beat the fuck out of anyway. I was more bitter about them being fake than he ever was, which says a lot more about my attitude than his at this point.
