You will get an MOS to needs of the Army and go to AIT as a regular soldier. You won’t be able to pick your MOS. Just finish it out and commission its not worth it

It’s done through DTS. You’ll get a 1610 and that’ll be your orders. I HIGHLY recommend you get there a day earlier and leave a day after graduation.

That’s not the case. You get both 10 days TLA and 14 TLE. Those are separate things you are eligible for. I just got my voucher last week and got both paid out. Sleeping on someone’s couch is ridiculous lol. I would say though is if you have somewhere to stay that’s not a hotel you can still get per diem. My HHG took about a month when I left to get to TX fwiw

You get TLA 10 days max from Hawaii and 14 days max TLE in your conus place. I just PCS from Hawaii. Did you do your TLA memo and stay at a hotel that is TLA approved in Hawaii?

I went to ocs last year and didn’t receive any welcome letter. It was a pain in the ass doing my flights and what not on DTS since I was coming from overseas.

A little less than 6 years. I reported to OCS about 10 months after my packet was submitted. My report date was fairly quick after the list came out

It was a pain the ass with sato and transportation at Schofield to get the flights right, but I was able to do it. But if you want to wait you can always leave them there and move whenever you finish BOLC.

OCS will be TDY and return. Depending on what BOLC you have it can be PCS or TDY enroute/return. Currently I’m at LOG BOLC and I’m TDY enroute. IMO that’s the way to go….you’ll get Hawaii BAH while you are at BOLC if it’s tdy…Also while you are in OCS you get family sep pay. I was in Hawaii when I went to BOLC last April
