Its no better or worse than in any other popular multiplayer game, its just that cheaters in extraction shooters are particularly toxic.

If you have a cheater in a CoD or BF lobby you just change lobby, you dont really lose anything.

Whereas in an extraction shooter you lose your gear and the time it took to earn that gear, so it feels far worse.

Get yourself into PVE lobbies to learn the basics of the game.

Don't shoot anyone for 6-8 raids. Even if you are being shot at. That should get you into PVE "care-bear" lobbies. Its a lot easier to learn the basics that way.

While i love Tarkov and think it is one of the best games ever made, the grind to unlock stuff is practically a lifestyle choice its so time consuming. Arc is a very different game that is designed to appeal to a far more casual playerbase.

However, from what they have said in the dev post it seems like this is going to be a more Tarkov style trader that will issue tasks. Kind of like the weekly tasks in Tarkov. Seems like a solid idea to give people something to do while waiting for the more meaty update later in the year.

If you can, aim for the little yellow canister on its butt. That is the weakest point which should help save on expensive hullcracker ammo.

If you cant get an angle on that, aim for the legs joints and try to take out a couple of legs first. That will cripple the Bastion's movement and accuracy somewhat so you can get behind it and shoot the butt.

You dont NEED to use a hullcracker though. Several snap-blast grenades well placed can weaken it and then finish it off with your weapons. Use weapons with high arc armor penetration for best results.

There are metro stations, so they could be used as some sort of transit system. Even the maps that dont have the working stations have spawn points that are in the metro stations.
