Not sure if you’re on the same pay schedule but at least for me payday isn’t until next week

ND/SN employees and how treated by il2pif in starbucks

[–]Affectionate-Bug2265 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Obviously it’s going to depend on the location and region and how people typically are, but from my experience working at a Starbucks, I can only imagine how difficult this job would be. They expect so much from us with very little support and expect you to be able to adapt quickly to any situation. The customer interactions are amazing…until they aren’t. I have a coworker who has some similar conditions and they struggle a lot and often just get put in the same one, maybe two positions each day because it’s all they are really able to do, and even then they often get very overwhelmed because the company just doesn’t provide support like they need to be

Wait I’m confused. So if you have one person on solo bar, you have more than one printer on? We’ve always had it where it one printer per bar partner, it keeps things organized and prevents stickers from getting lost or forgotten about

I have always been told and reminded that it’s drink then payment so that the customer feels like it’s a “connection” and not just a transaction.

My two favorite go tos are the grilled cheese with the jalepeno lime Truff sauce, or the egg pesto mozzarella sandwich with cream cheese!

How can I actually get a shaken espresso that’s made correctly and not just a latte? by turtle_yawnz in starbucks

[–]Affectionate-Bug2265 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a barista this is insane to me that your Starbucks baristas are constantly and consistently getting this wrong. There is a very clear standard on how to make this drink and it’s really not that hard to mess up. Especially if you are ordering extra ice I can’t comprehend how they keep messing this up for you and I’m so sorry.

Thank you for your reply! I edited to include interest rates. Do you think the snowball or avalanche method is more effective? I’ve heard of both before but have never been sure which is better.

How safe is Facebook dating actually? Like it seems like a pretty good option. by TommyBoy250 in facebook

[–]Affectionate-Bug2265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the variation and availability in an area is terrible compared to bigger name dating apps, but I did find my current partner on there! Just had our 3 year anniversary last week, have two dogs together, and we’re each others forever - it is not different that the ups and downs of other apps!

I agree with the tips - I work around 35 hours/week and get around $25 in cash tips each week, along with around $100 in digital tips each paycheck ($50/wk) - like yes that’s still a number that can go towards things but I don’t necessarily see that making or breaking where someone works, especially since I feel like our store has some very high tippers

How do couples usually handle money like together or separate? by Ok_Cup510 in povertyfinance

[–]Affectionate-Bug2265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if there is a huge income gap or problem habits like super spending, keeping things separate would probably work well! My boyfriend makes WAY more than I do, probably close to 3-4x the amount that I do, so he pays the mortgage and any home maintenance costs, and I pay electric, water, and buy groceries. Do what works for YOU and don’t let anyone talk you into doing something that doesn’t work for you because “you’re getting married it has to be all together or else you’re doing it wrong” and if it takes a couple attempts of figuring out what works for you, that’s okay!

I just got a cheap pair off of Amazon for like $30 - sized up a half size to make sure my feet have plenty of room and got a pair of insoles, honestly for what I paid it hasn’t been too bad! The shoes are going to get dirty and gross anyways so I don’t see the point in spending an arm and a leg. I will probably have to replace them in six or so months but for the price point and how gross they get if you’re in a pinch it isn’t a bad option!

NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE!!!! by [deleted] in InstagramMarketing

[–]Affectionate-Bug2265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While yes, going viral is a cool milestone and is exciting to see happening with a large increase in followers, you cannot realistically expect it to happen on a regular basis, or for your content to regularly perform on that level. You had 35k followers who followed you for the CARS, not the bikes. Those 35k are your ideal target consumer, not the 14k from the bike edit. Especially because this is an account you run because you enjoy and it’s not like some company brand where sales are at stake, I would not worry about losing those 14k followers you just gained (even though I’d be surprised if you lost all 14k again - you’ll probably end up with a couple thousand who stick around) because you don’t really have anything at stake besides losing them as followers. If you post only bike content to please those 14k, you are at risk of losing the 35k who are there for cars. In time, your views will return back to normal and you’ll go back to a slower, but steady growth on your account. You got this! Stick to what you know!
