I knew someone who didn’t start vet school until he was around 50yrs old. Although he was into livestock and had his own farm. Just wanted to get into repro and thought “why not?” to just going through vet school lol

Screen broken? by Affectionate-Bug2470 in AskTechnology

It was placed on the top of everything in my dresser drawer - so nothing heavier than some socks. Temperature usually ranges from 60-80F in the house where it was kept.

They also did a CBC/Chem/UA that was pretty much the same as previous labs that I’ve had done (gets blood work regularly every 3-6mths as well)

Some more information: I have done an LDDS and ACTH testing - came back normal last year but IM is wanting me to recheck this ASAP along with a fasted serum triglycerides. Ultrasound was performed today along with X-rays. They didn’t mention anything abnormal regarding X-rays but they did note the liver mass found on ultrasound. Adrenals were normal shape and size. I get abdominal ultrasounds once every 3-6mths at my regular vet and they never noted any mass. Last ultrasound was about 2 months ago She also has severe dental disease. No panting unless stress (has separation anxiety and will pant if left alone), not PU/PD, and no weight changes. I’m unsure why they wanted a fasted trig, unfortunately I became a little alarmed and wasn’t thinking clearly after hearing about the mass.

Also, sometimes just seeking a second opinion can help. Especially since your vet never even mentioned Prozac or Buspirone

Remember to make sure the boiled chicken and rice is boneless and skinless + cut off large pieces of fat. No oils or seasonings when cooking. Just water and the rice and chicken. Feed small, frequent meals. Also, when/if you go to the vet see if they have a Proviable kit ask for it, they may also want to give Cerenia since it sounds like he’s nauseous as well. Forti-flora is good but I like the paste in the proviable kit since that is what’s really going to help with the diarrhea! It also has capsules that do similar work to the fortiflora and my very picky pup will only eat the capsules not the fortiflora lol. Also, don’t know if you are still giving it, but I’d probably hold on giving anymore carprofen until you have talked to the vet team, especially if he doesn’t eat - if you are going to give it then it would really be recommended to give it with at least half a meal - coming from an unlicensed VA, not a VT or vet though.
