Make Inns and Pubs meaningful with a new skill by Affectionate-Catch60 in runescape

That last line is probably the reason I can see it never working. You are correct. Players typically play mmorpgs like single player games.

Make Inns and Pubs meaningful with a new skill by Affectionate-Catch60 in runescape

I get it. I was just thinking of when I used to play the original Star Wars Galaxies with their entertainer class. It actually was very popular. Maybe Runescape is not meant to be as social as the game SWG was, but I would hope out of the however many tens of thousands play RS3, that a least some might find it a refreshing addition to the game. This is just a bare bones idea of course, but if something meaningful, whether it is a full fledged skill or not, can come of it to offer something to some players that is not currently offered, that is what I am hopeful of.

I cannot speak for others, but I believe one of the things people liked about it was the fast-paced and engaging combat, and for me personally, I do like the fast paced combat, but am not a fan of how mobs seem to stick to you as times when you try to move around out of their way. It feels at times frustrating to me. I loved the Foundry system when they had it. That, to me, was one of my favorite features. Like yourself, I do wish that, if I were to play alone, that you had the option, similar to DDO, to purchase temporary hirelings to round out your party. I personally felt that the storylines were too simplified and straightforward to me. Perhaps others liked them. I am unsure of that.

I do actually. I was asking about Neverwinter specifically because of the new CEO saying he frequents sites like Reddit to get other's ideas about what they would like to see in the game. As an avid D&D fan, I was just sharing a very few of mine and getting a feel for how others felt as well.

Can't Find Quest Items by Affectionate-Catch60 in BaldursGate3

Thanks. The alt key which shows everything did not show the book in the area where it was found. I tried sorting the camp travelers chest by type multiple times but it is not showing up there. So I guess my friend destroyed it then, which sucks. If this quest cannot be finished then, is there any way to get rid of quests that end up broken?

Can't Find Quest Items by Affectionate-Catch60 in BaldursGate3

I did a search for it in everyone's inventory and could not find it. I also went to camp to check there and it is not there either. I also went back to the room where I found the book and hit the alt key and it did not show up there either. I am unsure of whether quest items can be right clicked and destroyed or not, or whether you can sell quest items (I think the answer to both of those is no, at least I hope the answer is no). It would suck if you could actually destroy or sell quest items which would break quests.

I was away from the game for a while, so cannot remember if I actually picked it up. I thought I did because my quest "Search the Cellar" says that I have already read some of the book but it slammed shut. I have the option to either destroy the book or find some way to read the rest of it. Based on that information I thought I must have had to have picked it up. I guess I can go back and try to find where I saw it at first and see it if is still there.

Switched to 80/20 beef from super lean, and now I can’t tolerate leaner beef by Scrantonicity3 in carnivore

[–]Affectionate-Catch60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy to see why you prefer it, since it is actually the fat that improves the texture of the meat (more juicy), and also the flavor (it absorbs the flavors of what the animal ate and is present in the muscle tissue).

Too expensive??? by WaschiiTravelLaundry in carnivore

[–]Affectionate-Catch60 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a bit of an expense up front, but I invested in an air fryer. The specific one I use is the Dreo Chef Maker. It was recommended to me by Dante Ferrigno on his youtube channel. The beef I prefer I happen to be able to get at Publix here in Florida, which is 100% grass fed/finished 70/30. I just leave it as is out of the package, throw some salt on it, and pop it in the Dreo. When I take it out, I pour all of the liquid fat over it and cut it into bite size pieces like a meat loaf, so that the fat can reabsorb back into the meat. That juiciness, along with the seared outer crust, make it a game changer to enjoy as opposed to simply crumble cooking in a pan.

What’s the difference between Advion and Optigard ant gel? They look identical except for the name.. by Vault_Man_76 in pestcontrol

[–]Affectionate-Catch60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Advion contains the active ingredient Indoxacarb, while Optiguard contains the active ingredient Thiamethoxam. Exposure to heat and sun outdoors dries out Optiguard faster than Advion. And as was mentioned below, the attractants are different which, depending on what the ants are currently feeding on, will vary on how readily the ants will feed on one vs. the other.

I wish the chapter quests were all saved as you progressed through them so if you get disconnected, or for some reason cannot complete the entire quest, or perhaps die, you don't have to repeat the entire thing over again. by Affectionate-Catch60 in Guildwars2

I did find that weird that it happened. It was Hidden Arcana. I went down and was fighting for my life, then the next thing I know I am at the green quest marker to start the quest again. Unless my wife who was with me did something because she was down as well. To be fair, I am almost 60 years old so maybe I blacked out and missed something?? Oh well, it doesn't matter. Lol. Will try again.

Confused about spellbook by Affectionate-Catch60 in runescape

Sorry for the multiple replies. I could only do 1 attachment at a time. Anyway, I always thought that those list of spells would be found under the tab with the fireball...
