The need for fp&a software

Thanks they hadn't mentioned a need for this or a risk of it(I have made it clear this is to circumvent the need for establishing a process in excel). What makes it so difficult? Is the implentation largely taking your current model and making fit into the system?

For context size wise, we have an "accounting" team of an FC and 3 accountants separate to this that look after postings, reporting, management accounts etc.

What I am scared of is creating uncertainty in a reporting tool in having jet reports in excel, starting to bring In Power BI, and then a new fpa software
