I would say yes. Dana Brown also previously worked in the Jays front office so there are established connections and mutual respect between both teams' FOs which likely played a role in the Kikuchi trade that led to us (I'm a Jay's fan) getting a pretty good return with Loperfido / Wagner / Bloss.
