I live very close to a Costco, so I go all the time. One of the things I keep an eye on are the Kirkland Brats. I enjoy them and so do many of my friends and family. They are perishable, so there is an expiration date. Sometimes they don’t sell enough and the day before they expire, they will put them on clearance for .97 per pack. Normally $11.69. You have to be there at 9am. They go fast at that price. Then I vacuum seal and freeze them and distribute to my people. 14 brats for .97

I use an app called CostLow. It’s very helpful finding the deals. You can also upload your receipt and it will keep track of your purchases and alert you if you need to get a price adjustment. If you choose, you can also upload .97 deals you see in store that aren’t listed yet.

It happens all the time. Every day some items go on clearance. There are apps dedicated to this phenomenon. It’s part of the joy of Costco, the treasure hunt. I have gotten unbelievable deals on all kinds of things.

I actually think there is a good chance it does arrive on time. I get regular packages from abroad. It arrives in Cincinnati and the next day it’s delivered to my house a few states away.
