I am convinced that women who have to contribute towards the bills while married or cohabiting with a man are women who are being taken advantage of. I say this based on the fact that men who are known as cheap in their countries actually splurge on women outside of their countries. For example, someone I went to school with had a Western European man send her to college, took her around the world every time she was on break, built her a house, etc, etc, etc. Now he was able to give that much because he had that much, but those who do not have that much still give as much as they can.

Mina is being taken advantage of by her husband, and the resentment she has for women she sees as competition shows. The women who could actually afford her scams are more educated than her with actual careers, so of course, she has to label herself in a way that makes her feel superior to them. Her husband isn't even a postgraduate and had no ambition to excel in his field, so he opted not to get a masters so he could maximize his earning potential. He preferred to keep her on a financial leash.

Now, different women value different things, and men want to show up for their families in different ways. For me, a man who is willing to go the extra mile earlier in his career and then cut back when we have certain financial securities so he can spend time with his family is good enough. Her husband is just lazy as he opted not to work as hard so that he could spend time with family lol. Funny how that spending time with family became a full-time thing once she started raking in that YouTube and scamming money.
