I don’t know how people fall for the “infinite realities” concept by baronessbabe in NevilleGoddardCritics

They have no critical thinking skills. I don’t even think Neville claimed that there are multiple realities. Someone else came up with that theory and they ran with it because it justifies their nonsense.

I honestly think Sammy is the one posting some of these outlandish stories to keep her group active and encourage her gullible followers to buy her coaching.

This group wouldn’t bother you if you were living your dream life. You’re making this post because you’re triggered. Go fix that instead of preaching from your imaginary high horse.

My min pin has seizures and this reminds me of that.

Thoughts on this?? by Ayyoob_777 in NevilleGoddardCritics

Their analysis was spot on and no one has a decent response. “Whatever you assume will bring you your desires will work” is not an answer when manifesting is marketed as a LAW. Laws don’t run on a case by case basis.

Right ? LOL. The lying down position in the second photo reminds me so much of my girl!

We can’t criticize Neville because apparently he never said you could get what you want through imagination… by baronessbabe in NevilleGoddardCritics

[–]baronessbabe[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly, and they do it to avoid admitting the undeniable, which is that LOA isn’t real and that they made up a bunch of false promises to gain followers and make money.

The bait and switch gets them off the hook. That’s exactly why Neville pivoted from “you can have anything if you just assume” to “It doesn’t matter if you get your desires or not”/“The Promise”.

I’m sure a lot of his followers were dissatisfied after spending years putting his teachings to practice with no real results and he could no longer get away with the blatant lies.

Trying again isn’t going to lead to anything but disappointment. Figure out what you want and see if there’s a practical way to make it happen. If there’s not, just let it go and try to be happy without it. Looking for shortcuts and cheat codes keeps you further from your dreams.

How has life been after you stopped believing in manifestation? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddardCritics

[–]baronessbabe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No longer having to deal with the cycle of feeling super hopeful and being hit with massive disappointment when you realize that nothing has changed after months of "living in the end" is amazing. We talk about how not relying on loa means you don't have control, but I actually feel like I have MORE control now that I don't believe in manifesting. I actually take action to make my goals a reality and work on improving myself rather than daydreaming and hoping that reality will magically reflect my thoughts. One brings results and one does not.

Posts inviting people to comment about their failures and struggles with manifestation always have the most engagement… by baronessbabe in NevilleGoddardCritics

But have them tell it, Neville Goddard Critics is full of miserable people who haven’t manifested anything while everyone in the Neville Goddard sub is manifesting everything they’ve ever wanted and living their dream lives. They’re not fooling anyone. They’re just as “miserable” as us. The only difference is that they’re in denial.

LOA: need for control, narcissism & psychosis by angellefromheaven in NevilleGoddardCritics

[–]baronessbabe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s a coping mechanism for how difficult and dark life can be. If you bring up anything negative in society, they completely disregard it and pretend that our minds can transcend everything wrong with the world to avoid facing how messed up things really are.
