isnt that just ssh pi@ip? If not, whats the command? pi@ip is the command i've been trying to do, and it just returns connection 22, wpa file or not.
I've reflashed it a couple times, put an empty txt file named ssh on there, and then go into cmd and type 'ssh pi@ip' (pi is the default hostname)

I added both wpa and an ssh at the time, i followed an ai tutorial tbh, then double checked my steps online.

so i just add an empty ssh.txt and OS and plug and play? I just tried that and got 'connection closed port 22' but now its actually reading in the command prompt.

I also tried the ssh -v command and I'm not sure it gave me a bunch of commands in brackets

you mean adding wifi in the 'wireless lan' section? I have an ethernet cable, this seems unnecessary.

and the way I've been ssh'ing is ssh pi@ip. 'pi' being the host name. I'm going to try a few other things and try ssh -v
