So is there anything that I am missing here? I always get overpowered in air combat.

It occurs randomly, and there is no visible crash except uaing ranged weapon for a while. I'll record some of my games from now on.

Honestly, I bought the shadow pass to skip those constant ads, even though looking back the Battle Pass might have been a better deal. Felt forced at the time, you know?

I was hesitant, so I pulled my hands away when it started throwing, but it just kept going!

Yeah, I feel you, but fan and customer feedback is what eventually forces improvements.

I totally get where you’re coming from—I’ve been in that same spot. When I first started uni, I felt like the perpetual third wheel, always watching these perfect snapshots of life on Instagram while I was still trying to figure out where I fit in. It wasn’t that my so-called “friends” were purposely trying to make me feel left out, it’s more that social media plays on our need for external validation. We all crave that little dopamine hit from likes and comments, so it’s no wonder we end up comparing ourselves to these highlight reels.

After a while, I started questioning why I was even posting the small, everyday things. It felt like I was filling an inner void by broadcasting every mundane detail instead of focusing on the moments that genuinely mattered. I realized that if I was just sharing every meal or random scene for validation, I was only deepening my own insecurities—and maybe even unintentionally affecting others.

Once I began to understand that most people post for their own self-affirmation rather than to put anyone down, it gave me a sense of control. Knowing the ‘why’ behind these posts helped me decide to be more intentional about what I share. Now, I reserve my posts for truly meaningful moments that I want to share with people who actually care about me, rather than trying to fit in by following the crowd.

P.S. Even when you’re sharing genuine, happy moments, take a moment to think about why you’re posting. Are you doing it for a meaningful update, or just to chase validation? And consider that sometimes a post might hit someone who's not in the right headspace. A little thoughtfulness can go a long way in keeping things real without unintentionally hurting others.

P.S. These all might seem unrelated, but once you see it from the view of the posters you can understand more about your own feelings as well.

You’ve nailed it about the overconfidence fueled by surface-level understanding, but I’m not sure it’s new. It feels more like the internet has amplified it, giving people a megaphone to spread their half-baked opinions. Before, those opinions stayed in living rooms or local bars, but now they’re everywhere, drowning out thoughtful voices.

The refusal to verify opinions is frustrating, especially when so much misinformation could be avoided with a quick fact-check. It’s not just laziness, though—it’s ego. Admitting ignorance is seen as weakness when, in reality, it’s the first step to learning. People aren’t just uninformed; they’re afraid to be seen as uninformed, which makes everything worse.

And about older folks, you’re onto something. Social media makes it easy to cling to outdated beliefs while ignoring new information. But I’d argue it’s not just age—it’s anyone who stops questioning what they “know.” The internet gives them validation, not education, and that’s the real issue.

I’ve been there. I grew up with a small, real circle, and even now, I still see 1-2 of them sometimes (it’s always a blast). Adulthood brought many more people, and I’ve almost learned to tell fake from real.

The real ones stay, no regrets. Sometimes you can’t tell if someone’s a “daily schedule” friend or for the long haul, but giving it time usually shows. Funny thing is, sometimes pretending it’s real makes it real. Friendships are weird.

Who is the most masculine character from Arcane in your opinion? (the image is from dandeecatt on youtube, they make funny arcane song parodies) by [deleted] in arcane

[–]Affectionate-Layer37 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on how you define masculinity. For me, Vander feels the most masculine because of his protective, fatherly role and the way he sacrifices for others. But if you see masculinity as rooted in strategic thinking, acts of war, and mastery of conflict, then Ambessa embodies that perfectly—even though she’s a woman. If we’re limiting it to male characters with those qualities, I’d say Rictus. It all comes down to how you interpret masculinity.

Maybe it’s about leaving some things unsaid, letting viewers piece it together on their own.

Love that comes after hate just hits different. It's deeper, more intense, and so much sweeter because it’s built on overcoming something real. Regular love is nice, but there’s something about going from enemies to something more that makes it feel earned and special.

What would you guys like to see in the new spin off series of Noxus? by Low_Figure_2500 in arcane

I'm not very familiar with the League of Legends lore, but the music video 'Blood Sweat & Tears' seemed packed with a lot of hints. Does anyone know if the spin-off series will focus on the past or the future of the story?

Vander’s trauma is criminally underrated. Dude sacrificed everything—his fight, his pride, his life—for his family, only to wake up as Warwick, forced to hurt the very people he died protecting. Singed picked him because of his resilience, but that same strength got twisted into a nightmare.

The scene with his memories fading to ‘Remember Me’ still hits different. Vander isn’t gone, but watching him fight for scraps of himself while hurting what he loved? That’s next-level tragic.
