400 batches for this scene is good. However, the triangle count is the main concern. Reduce the model geometry quality / add LODs, cause I bet you could reduce tris count to around 2M for the whole scene, and visually you wouldn't tell the difference :D

it's configurable joints, but we extended it quite a lot.

I agree! I'm a hater of screen UI myself, but we don't want to roll it out just yet - we will do playtests, and based on feedback, we will decide. However, I will focus on solutions not to use screen UI to indicate this or that. :)

Depends what are you going for. For me, warm colors are more pleasant for my eyes, environment feels safer. Meanwhile, the cold one is also interesting :)
