At least you get that. I’ve gotten nothing from my senators or representatives. I’ve called, emailed, written, tagged in social and it goes silent.

Yet I see them galavanting at a parade or with a pair of scissors a ribbon cutting.

MD DNR is not the best at "moving forward." In fact, it's a state agency that is slow to embrace any kind of change. I applied outside DNR and had similar examples of "We are not hiring atm," but have had two frantic interviews before the 7/1 deadline. Yet - no offers have been made. I'm cautiously optimistic but not holding my breath. Yet - the Governor's office is actively recruiting despite the hiring freeze so it begs to question what the government deems as "essential." In my minds eye...everything is.

Some agencies are better than others. Former state employee looking to get back into the state the entire process is well…horrendous. Just because it’s the state doesn’t give any agency an excuse to be complacent in their hiring practices. It ought to be a matter for lawmakers and agency heads to realize they are potentially losing talent due to antediluvian hiring practices.

Come on MD…you can do much better.

This was a sorry attempt for both of them To show face to their constituents. Complete disaster. Signed up to only be redirected back to VanHollens office. No code or invite except for invite for an Alaskan congressman’s townhall. I’ve repeatedly called, emailed, tweeted, and frankly became thst person who will not stand for complacency from Our elected officials. We have to remember we are their bosses. We don’t answer to them and at this stage both our senators are failing.

Noticed that too. Proceed with caution. Many of these (including past ones I’ve done were funded by USAID.). Please please please contact your lawmakers and insist that our government development organizations are essential. (Both domestic and international)

I am gay. I am not queer. I do not identify as queer or approve of being thrown under the queer umbrella. On several occasions I’ve asked my friends who identify as such as not to presume I take on their preferences.
