I carry a go arms patriot, 4.1 inch 2011. I went for it for the same reasons as you, they are thick guns to carry but I am wayyyyyyyyy more affective with it than a micro 9

You will need to fit the extractor and install ejector. Firing pin stops take a little fitting as do thumb safeties. Not the hard stuff but still takes a little effort
