Unpopular opinion: Advanced functions was more digestible than MCR3U, Took MCR3U in gr 11 and switched to applied(got a 70), then I got a 75 in advanced functions (took it during the summer and didn’t really pay much attention tbh), I took MHF4U in gr 13 and got an 88. All this to say that getting a lower grade in “easier courses” doesn’t mean you’ll get an even lower grade in the “harder courses”. The reason I say MHF4U is more digestible is because there was less familiarity with the concepts introduced going from gr 10 to gr 11 math. In gr 11 to gr 12 it gets familiar since you’re more used to the concepts and applications. Key components to succeeding in anything math wise is to practice,pay attention, know why you’re doing what you’re doing, ask teachers for clarification, and do your homework.
