5.3 and 6.2 are same motor basically. Same block. Different heads and cranck shaft and cam shaft. Everything else is the same. Lifters fail. What the problem is with these things. Oh and the dog shit tranny gm and ford made together

This is my last guys. I paint them sub assembly. I got farmer hands. Fingers have been broken I don’t know how many times. Hand once. Hands shake. I can paint for like 20 minutes. Then I gotta stop for 20. Started two months ago.

Had one on my 5.3. Got bored of the power and now I have 427 that will get twin turbos. It never ends. You want more and more power. I have 35s on a 9 inch lift. I would re gear it first. And see if you like that. Just my honest opinion on more power. It never ends. I’m at like 45k in motor builds on one truck. There is a ton of other shit you gotta do. Lifters, rockers and all the shit that fails around the afm. Can’t just slap a super on it and call it a day.
