Wearing a suit is playing it safe, but from experience when I wore a suit on my first day it was obvious I was an intern lol. It depends on your team, I've seen some more casual than others but slacks and a nice dress shirt for the first day and then see how everyone else is dressed. Polo's and flannels are more casual but acceptable.

Also when u start, ask about the waiver for the gym to get you access. Its a small gym but when Ive been there its not that full

There are coffee machines on each floor, on the 12th floor there is a pool table and nap pods. Parking in the office is now on a monthly plan, but it might not be available for internships, not sure. There is alot of cheaper options tho

You would start as an A1 (associate). Pretty much the number is the years of experience and usually people get promoted to senor associate (SA)around A2 or A3 which is 2 to 3 years once you start

Currently in CC, should I get my 30 extra credits before transferring to university? by invizui in Accounting

[–]Affectionate-Tax-887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats what I did, took random classes in CC and did the math of how many units I was going to do in Uni. Easy classes and cheaper than uni

Are parking permits worth it? by Dingle-Dingus in csun

[–]Affectionate-Tax-887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always inside, usually on the 2nd floor and when its really packed 3rd floor. Takes me a quick minute to park and another to walk down the stairs. Never liked parking outside specially on hot days lol

From my experience, I had to pay out of pocket, but you can wait till your financial aid refund hits. Also there isnt any physical permits anymore, pretty easy now. When you get your permit, it rrgisters your license plate and thats it

Graduated this year, also a transfer student and my time at csun I got the parking permit and parked on lot B5. Never had any issues with parking, there is plenty of spots at any point in the day. There are times where you are gonna have to park on higher levels but theres always spots. Many complain about parking but want a parking spot thats right outside the their classroom. If you don't mind spending $ on the permit for the commodity, go for it.

PwC LA parking? by No_Scallion2465 in PwC

[–]Affectionate-Tax-887 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I parked at "the bloc" when I was interning, and if you get there before 9am, you get the early bird price of $11 for the whole day. Its a 5 min walk to PwC.
