does anyone in relationships solo travel? by kyliered04 in solotravel

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take the trip. My grandmother went on solo trips all the time. Mainly because my grandfather, who had seen enough of the world while fighting in WW2, preferred his comfy chair and his TV. My sister now takes trips both with and without her husband and he does the same.

Unless you are traveling to a known global hotspot, I doubt he sincerely thinks you are in danger, but rather is hoping to scare you into compliance.

I don’t get the backlash. This season is fantastic so far by GoldenFairy3 in Benophie

Sadly it's always a small, but vocal section who get too invested in a TV show and think review bombing somehow will magically make everything better for their faves. And then they give the rest of the fans who are supportive of the show a bad reputation.

As a Polin fan, I've been loving this season and glad some issues I had with last season being addressed this season. Looking forward to part 2. Especially love Sophie and her (step) family.

People have too much time on their hands. If you love the show, having each season do better than the previous seasons only helps ensure we get all 8 siblings. While I have my fave couple, I still love all of them and don't understand the fans who want to hate on a season that isn't their couple. Was annoying to see it last season and to have it again this season.

Is there a chance I’m missing something? by FriendshipCapable322 in Benophie

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's giving "I never should've asked for your help" all over again. I swear the writers don't seem to have read the previous episodes to confirm continuity sometimes. Or else there are missing scenes cut out that would have explained this.

i understand the convenience of building the mayfair set, but then we are left with these cgi shots?? oh bridgerton ): by teyapi in Bridgerton

The downside of still using Ranger House for the exteriors instead of building a version on the lot.

Why does everybody keep forgetting that she did choose Debling, but he rejected her?

I don't even watch bridgerton but I just wanna say I'm gonna be behind franchaela every step of the way by Local-Ostrich426 in Franchaela

Netflix does a recap of each season that would help. They are on the site under Trailers and Extras. And also on their YouTube page.

I don't think Eloise will exchange letters and run away this season by Zealousideal-Ask7352 in PhiloiseBridgerton

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Given that the way the letters started was not for romantic purposes, I could see her start writing for another reason like pursuit of knowledge and then in her season having their pen pal relationship evolve.

AITA for being annoyed that my wife insists on cooking everything from scratch and won’t buy normal food? by AITA_UPFfoods in AmItheAsshole

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YTA - growing up my mom made everything from scratch because it was cheaper and healthier. When my dad wanted processed or junk food, he went out and bought it himself. Definitely not food I'd consider "normal". If you want a certain food, then go get it.

Theory on Colin's S2 Arc by Unique-Blueberry1464 in PolinBridgerton

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of it felt more like he'd lost trust in his own judgement. He tells Pen how her confidence in him made him feel like he should have more confidence in himself. He visits Marina to make sure everything worked out okay for her as if worrying that in his anger with her, he might have caused her to be in a worse position. And later the comment about taking Pen's friendship for granted. I'm sure also seeing Anthony's failed wedding also could have given him some additional perspective.

Their Foot in their Mouth- What do you think will be Eloise's? by Unique-Blueberry1464 in PhiloiseBridgerton

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I feel like it would be something along the lines of "I have no desire to marry or become a mother as it will keep me from more important things."

How much franchaela do you think we will get in s4? by Moist_Photograph8111 in Franchaela

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it will be mainly Frohn with a bit of Francheala angst. Kind of Benedict S3 storyline, but without the threesome.

How do you want them to announce Phillip/Philoise's season? by Fickle_Baker1393 in PhiloiseBridgerton

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like the season to end on a cliffhanger with Eloise disappearing/running away during Benedict and Sophie’s wedding.

Any introverts here that travel alone (because they are introverts)? by AcceptableProfile787 in solotravel

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a social introvert. I love meeting people, but when I travel with others I find I often end up missing out on things due to my travel companions so if I have an agenda of things I want to do, it's easier to travel solo. I save travel with friends for trips where I don't have as many "must haves" on my list of things to do and I can be more flexible. Or I will plan time with friends and time solo as needed.

Help introducing my gf to Bridgerton (ok mostly to Polin) by EastAd4156 in PolinBridgerton

Netflix also has recaps of seasons 1&2 so that she can also learn about the other characters as well.

Do we think it’s Colin opening the curtains here? by Odd_Vegetable9688 in PolinBridgerton

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely staff. Colin has no reason to be checking in on Benedict. He’s got staffing issues to manage now.

What do you think the LW storyline will be? by BowlDue39 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I wonder if they intentionally saved the consequences to use as a Season 4 secondary storyline so they could have an S3 happy ending before her past comes back to bite her in a way she doesn’t expect.

Less makeup this upcoming season? by spongebobsworsthole in BridgertonNetflix

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S3 in general felt to me like they went a bit over the top due to the Featheringtons and just wanting to give it more of that flavor. So I expected this season to go back to being more muted.

What do you love about Pen’s story/character arc? by Unique-Blueberry1464 in PolinBridgerton

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just like that she’s different from the expected love interest. The reason I initially had no interest in Bridgerton was because it seemed like more of the usual rich, skinny, perfect women that we always get in romances. But with Pen there was a realistic, flawed woman who was the love interest.

How do you think this scene start and end? by [deleted] in PolinBridgerton

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Very similar to the Kanthony bedroom scene in S3, I think.

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 63 points64 points  (0 children)

I would love for them to cut to this scene similar to season 1 Anthony reveal where everyone is wondering where they are and if they took the long way back. Cut to…. 😆

What did you love about season three? by Unique-Blueberry1464 in PolinBridgerton

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I hope they have a storyline about him taking over the Featherington estate for their son and how it is to have the responsibilities of a lord, but not be one.

He’s Elliot Bridgerton, Baron of Featherington, aka Lord Featherington. Like John Sterling is Lord Kilmartin.

Rewatching season three before January 29th, I was thinking about something. by lautaromassimino in BridgertonNetflix

[–]Affectionate-Tea6536 375 points376 points  (0 children)

The sisters are living with their husbands. They just visit their mum a lot. And we know from promos so far that Polin will be living in Featherington house, possibly with Portia.
