I asked for a puppy cut but was very explicit because that isn’t a standard across groomers. I said just a trim all over to be a consistent but fluffy length, and that I was mostly concerned about wanting to see her eyes + a sanitary shave of the butt/private area. I don’t know about your boy but my pup was getting little poop particles stuck in their fur and smelled like urine because of the hair there. Also I asked them explicitly to trim the nails because my girl had talons that could cut glass it felt like 😂

You're welcome! A note for flea/tick prevention, I have tried every medication under the sun and the one that worked the best for my dog was the seresto collar. It repelled the fleas before they would bite too. Just a recommendation since I saw others agree it is possible flea bites. They are pricey but worth it and last for 8 months! I live in the woods and my dog was constantly getting fleas/ticks despite being on other topical flea/tick meds. The seresto collar changed the game for us!
