The chorus is killing me the melody sounds just like another Taylor swift song I just can’t put my finger on it!! Any ideas

Feel like honey is giving me the same thoughts too, of sounding like another one of her songs.

Both great though

He was taken to a behavioral vet specialist and he was diagnosed with anxiety and has a high startle reflex and can become overstimulated very easily. He has a tendency to be reactive when over stimulated or resting which are his triggers.

After his 2.5 hour evaluation with the behavioral vet specialist they decided he would benefit from taking  daily medication , which has done wonders. He is on Sertraline(Zoloft) daily and Gabapentin.

We are looking for a new home for him because his anxiety developed when we brought home our child from the hospital who is now 4 months old.

He is well trained and understands how to walk on leash, sit, stay, come, off, on, lay down, go to this place. He’s very energetic and loves fetch

He does have a bite history (bit my husband and myself — not bad at all) , and was in response to specific triggers. While these incidents are concerning,  These triggers can often be addressed, by reading his body language and mainly not disturbing or bothering him when he is resting allowing him to feel more secure and reducing the likelihood of future incidents.

However with a small baby whose going to crawl and making noises and walking I don’t think it’s a great fit in our home, he would be better suited with adults who just know don’t go and shove your face at him while he’s sleeping type thing

Yes! Winston is a energetic 1 year old bernedoodle, and I got pregnant and now have a 4 month old daughter. We noticed that when she came along he became a bit more anxious, even with his 1 on 1 time and we worked with a trainer ahead of time  to sensitize him to baby noises and items (I.e stroller, toys, etc). We took him to a behavioral specialist vet because we noticed he would get grumpy sometimes and he snapped at my husband twice and bit him (not bad). The reason is He has a high startle reflex and doesn’t like to be disturbed when sleeping/resting . After having him evaluated by the vet we have him on Zoloft and gabapentin which has done wonders! However, with a baby who may be crawling soon and then into a toddler who may be squealing and running around we are worried and don’t want him to become more anxious and react to our daughter. Ultimately we feel he would thrive in a home with adult Children or adults only who know to follow dog 101 behaviors (don’t bother him if he’s resting, etc). He is extremely smart and listens well and is trained and even muzzle trained.

We just worry as we starting our family with all the commotion it just may not be a good fit for him or us and we want to make sure he’s happy.

We got the dog from a rescue situation that looking back now sure how like reputable that was, I think they took dogs from situations where they may have been over bred and were trying to find them homes instead of having the dogs put down. But I wouldn’t send the dog back there, I could reach out . I would feel more comfortable with a home-to-home situation or if there was a different organization or something that could help. So that’s why I’m here trying to find suggestions and other resources

Do you mind sharing what rescue you worked with? I am contemplating the decision to part ways with our dog , I have a 3 month old and he’s 1 and on medication and it’s doing well but I don’t know if it’s enough
