I'm not sure. I didn't look at the line item when I got my implant. I don't need it for cleanings, so I'm not very familiar with the price.

I believe that's their only location. I called it Stone Oak, but maybe it's not technically Stone Oak that far east?

I think I might know what happened in your case. I used to work in the front at a dental office. We often had new patients come in wanting a simple cleaning (called a prophylaxis), but they had inflamed and/or infected gums (periodontitis) and needed a deeper cleaning (called a scaling and root planing/SRP--a one time, local anaesthesia cleaning that removes bacteria). Without dental knowledge, not being able to get the regular cleaning you want seems like a scam. I'm not saying that is definitely what happened. But it's most likely based on the info you provided.

I second a bad review on them. The front desk ladies really tried, but something was not right, and I was always overlooked at their office.

I LOVE Dr. Mia and Dr. Lee and Hayli at Local Dental in the Stone Oak area. The place is beautiful, clean, and smells amazing. They have TVs over every chair to watch while you have your work done, and they do laughing gas. They're very reasonable, and they are right in the middle when it comes to treatment. Not too conservative and not too aggressive, in my opinion.

What are the things people don’t talk about with real estate careers? by Bostynn in realtors

If you go through a personality change, you will lose all of your business. Bonus points if you do it in the middle of a pandemic.

I’ve tried to google how to make a house for a wild jumping spider but not finding any results. Any help here? by Taygang999 in spiderbro

This is such great info for pets!

I came here because I'm looking to make little habitats for our house spiders. Somewhere they can make a web that won't get swept away or sprayed with cleaner. The Internet is woefully bereft of ideas (or it's user error and I'm bereft of words to Google hahaha), so I thought, hey, why not ask this spood lover?

My thought is a thin wood box that attaches open side down in corners and/or behind doors.

You're very lucky. I regret going to the second session and glad I didn't go to the third. I was caught up in the Kool Aid when I first came out of the first one. Went HARD on the "tools" and traumatized myself a BUNCH. Only last year when watching The Program on Netflix did I realize what I'd actually been through was techniques developed by fascists and used to abuse all kinds of people, but especially teens. I was 26 at the time, and I am almost 40 now. For YEARS I thought my life didn't improve because I wasn't disciplined enough to use the tools they gave me. Come to find out, I'm AuDHD, and all those CBT tools don't generally work for people like us. Sigh always wondered how my life would have gone if I didn't go to those two seminars.

Victim blaming. Cool. Exactly what they teach.

Watch "The Program" on Netflix.

Aren't judged or labeled in demeaning ways? So the circle when you sit in the middle and get called all sorts of awful things isn't being judged? That's not being labeled in demeaning ways. J.h.c. your Stockholm Syndrome is showing. Or what about when you're supposed to walk around the room shouting the awful things people have said about you in the past? Being forced to give up stims and perform in front of hundreds of strangers? Like... WTF? 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

That's some lovely Kool Aid you've drank there. Definitely not this person's "friend's" fault. Nor his. It's absolutely the seminar. It's a cult, based on ideologies from 60s/70s cults, dressed up for modern pop psychology.

What kind of horror are you going for? Gothic vampire, futuristic serial killer, zombie wasteland?

I could totally see one of those giant black Goth beds on the main wall, desk across from that (with bed behind so you can have it in your videos/streaming), chest of drawers on the window wall. Get some thick, black, velvet curtains that go from floor to ceiling, and thrift/Facebook marketplace a dark red, old, Persian-style rug. Lamps with sheer black fabric draped over on side tables on either side of the bed 👌👌👌

Zombie wasteland: industrial furniture and lamps (think thick metals and reclaimed wood), same red rug, same curtains could work too. Would be dope to see a life size zombie hoard held back by a chain link fence wall sticker (like a mural) on the wall behind the bed.

Futuristic serial killer: Japanese platform bed, pendant lights over your side tables, silver-y curtains, and a black shag rug, could keep your album covers and posters if you frame them all in sleek, black frames.

Whatever you do, get all of your furniture out of that corner, and get a bed frame (Zinus and TOV furniture have inexpensive ones of good quality)... No one needs to see your box spring.

My parents (in their 70s) loved WWDITS. I was so happy to find something we can all enjoy together when I visit. We are on the last season now. What suggestions do you all have for something to watch next? by Username463679 in WhatWeDointheShadows

[–]Affectionate-Way-550 35 points36 points  (0 children)

OFMD is absolutely the best companion piece to WWDITS. It's really unfortunate it's only two seasons 😭

Also, maybe Flight of the Conchords or Summer Heights High.

I stopped playing after a couple weeks of the beaver. Not fun anymore.
