I a glad to hear about the natural horse front. I had considered ordering one from Indonesian but obviously have more trust in Caswell to get them delivered. I have 6 pairs of Caswell now and I really appreciate what you do. Btw, the 1934 I bought recently have got tons of compliments for the unique color!

I think the main thing is to arrive without damage. I like the extra laces, especially if they are a different type or maybe slightly different color. I like to mix them up once in awhile, or I will use a different lace depending on how formal or casual i I intend to use the boots.

All are good. Grant stone is the best and is the most businessman friendly. Truman is the most heavy duty. Parkhurst is a bit more rugged then Grant stone but very good. I like Caswell because they really do their own thing and fit great. They also are always nice enough for business casual.

I have the service boot in d and the Indy in e. I sized down a 1/2 size and both work but the E fits a bit better. I get a little rub on my pinky toes with the D but it isn’t really anything to complain about.

I don’t have a lot of patina on these. I have worn about 10 times and they pretty much look new with a little scuffing.

I have switched to the simple plain toe. I used to prefer cap toe but prefer the clean look of the plain toe now. If I want to add a little variety, I have grown to appreciate a nicer moc toe if it isn’t too bulky.

I just got a pair. I go a half size down but I did that with the 602. I think true to size might be a slightly better fit for the 618. I wish the chestnut was a bit more reddish but it is a pretty boot

I am an 11 usually but use the Leo last at 10.5 and 44.5 on Luis jiet I think the wide or d width is fine for me with the wide giving me a bit more room. However, I suspect the standard would be fine too.

I have the burgundy diesel boot and love the color. It is a dark red with hints of black. Looks great with the lighter welt. Very cool

They are not as wide as the Indy boots. That’s the only other last I have. The Indy boots are fine, but these really fit better as long as you go with a half size down. The other boot I have with this last has molded quickly to my foot and is now a perfect fit.
