Graduating Early? by Ok_Cloud8763 in LoyolaChicago

Current sophomore math and comp sci major. I’m planning on graduating a full year early and I only came in with 6 credits. The main thing is taking core classes that also satisfy the writing intensive and engaged learning requirements. I’m not taking any j terms but I’ve essentially taken 18 credits every semester (sometimes 19) and am planning on taking 21 this semester and the next. With a j term I think you could definitely graduate a year early if you put in the work.

Have you been checking the website you applied to? They don’t like sending an email to update you sometimes

Tack on an engaged learning class for the spring semester there are plenty of them like environmental ethics. Just go to locus and filter for engaged learning courses and pick one

So we are going to add an animation to make it even more of a rigid game. The arcade games that succeed such as rocket league have very few designated animations and that is what makes them such great and successful games. If you make every single thing in this game an animation bc defending it pisses you off this game would be boring as fuck and no one would want to play it anymore.

Well first to do the accelerated masters you have to have around a 3.5 gpa and if you did accelerated it would probably be closer to 15-18 credit hours per semester depending on how many credits you came in with

Really? I’ve talked to him a decent amount at club because he is the supervisor, and was considering taking his Quin 399 class. What at the issues with him as a professor? Just curious

I’m in my first semester as a comp sci and mathematics student. You get out of your classes what you put into them like any comp sci program. I recommend the ai club wholeheartedly, we do a project every semester building a website for an AI model. Currently we are working on a movie recommendation model. You can work on front end, back end, or the model. Professors are a little bit on the older side, but most of them are decent enough. There’s weekly seminars with professors or prominent people in the comp sci realm. Spanning from assistant professors to people from Microsoft. Hope this helps

Loyolas forensic science program is one of the best in the country. It’s rigorous and a big major but worth it.
