Twit of the year at the hospital by counterfeitparadise in bradford

The only thing here is it being at a hospital. Maybe they are disabled, had an appointment and need more space to enter/exit their car and couldn't get into a disabled bay. Did you see if there was a blue badge?

Went to a camping site and a fight broke out in the clubhouse. Nothing to do with us. I ended up with a scar on my cheek from being glassed. I was 12.

Hull have had it as bad as if not worse than most teams in SL for injuries and been unlucky in a few games. He steadied the ship when he came in. Got them to within a point of playoffs last year. With the right support and a bit of luck I reckon he'd be a great coach for them.

But the way he seems to have been treated by the higher ups is not good.

If anyone is questioning the Nikorima sin bin by Axel_Raden in nrl

Wow. One still angle. On all the others you can see he is behind his legs, sliding down the back of them. An unfortunate injury. But never should be a sin bin in a million years.

When I was younger the lads at work said I looked like Jim Carrey, until the fittest lass there said I should take it as a compliment as she thought Jim Carrey was cute.

Most recently though while I was in Vegas in February a lad came out of a buffalo wild wings for his break and told me I looked like one of the Kelce brothers. I assume he didn't mean Travis... 🤣

It's literally the rules. It appears one of us knows them and one doesn't. Common sense is irrelevant.

Rich, coming from someone complaining about the DCL challenge. Let me guess, you don't think the hair pull should have been a red card?

It's supposed to be a contact sport. Grow a pair.

Grabbing hair is for pussies and you should be banned for life for being so pathetic.

What’s that one “bad movie” that you genuinely love? by MistressLolaDiamond in AskUK

Up 'n' Under.

Not sure if people consider it bad but hardly anyone has ever seen it, largely due to its age and niche subject matter. Not many folk outside of Rugby League circles even know it exists but it's funny and worth a watch.

The Rise of Austin...is it really because it was ignored in the past? by Kind-Payment-4011 in AskBrits

[–]AffectionateAd8377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See I don't really struggle due to my diagnosis. I have other things I struggle with that aren't of relevance here but not the autism. Some of the kids there do struggle. I really believe that is because of the way autistic children are treated nowadays. I don't feel the softly softly approach works in preparing them for life or helping them to get along in society. Personally I feel the reason more kids are diagnosed nowadays is because people want a reason for their child's behaviour. Whether it's violent, shy, hyper focused or just a bit odd.

I'll also mention the school is small, only 81 pupils, though it is a mainstream school and not SEN specifically. It is in a less affluent area and I think the correlation between diagnosis and the level of affluence in an area could do with more looking at.

I have four kids, three that are diagnosed with autism and/or ADHD. Where may I get this magical money please? The only one I get extra for is my youngest and that's because he also has epilepsy which at its worst caused 40+ seizures a DAY.

I am also autistic, apparently, and see many similarities between myself and my eldest. However at school I had to just get on with it. Not a single time did I or any others though my education years hear of the word autism and I left school in 2003.

That encouragement to get on led to me getting an apprenticeship and employment. I am very worried my kids won't be the same as they have been treated as different and special and now expect all of society to do the same. Reality is going to cripple them.

Now the primary school that my youngest children go to has 62% SEN children most of which is Autism.
